Orange essential oil is extracted from the rind of the sweet orange by cold pressing. Sometimes, even the orange leaves and flowers can be used for this.

The orange essential oil has multiple uses. Based on people’s personal experiences, it is widely accepted that orange essential oil can lift your mood, reduce stress, reduce pain and inflammation, treat skin conditions such as acne, and relieve stomach upset. It is also used as a natural household cleaner, room freshener, and flavoring agent in food and beverages. Having said that, these benefits are not necessarily backed by scientific research.

The orange essential oil has limonene which has been investigated as a potential cancer treatment element. Another research also observed its antioxidant properties.
